Check-in time is at 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM.
Domestic flights between Kota Kinabalu and Lahad Datu are operated by MASwings (www.maswings.com.my).
A Malaysia Tourism Tax (TTx) of RM10.00 per room, per night applies and is payable upon check-in. This tax is applicable to non-Malaysian guests only.
The 3D2N Tabin Cycling Tour is conducted on a sharing basis. Private tour arrangements may be available upon request.

10:50 AM – Arrive at Lahad Datu Airport via MH3014 and complete registration upon arrival
12:00 PM – Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Lahad Datu
1:30 PM – Transfer to the main junction at Ladang Tunku Road and begin your exciting ride into Tabin Wildlife Resort
4:00 PM – Head out on a guided dusk drive to spot early evening wildlife
7:30 PM – Dinner at the Sunbird Café, surrounded by rainforest ambiance
8:30 PM – Watch the Tabin Wildlife Reserve introductory video for a glimpse into the biodiversity of the area
6:30 AM – Early breakfast at Sunbird Café
7:00 AM – Cycle to the Mud Volcano and along the Tomanggong area road, with opportunities for wildlife sightings and nature photography
12:30 PM – Return to the resort for lunch and a short rest
2:30 PM – Unwind with a refreshing Jungle Herbal Foot Soak
3:30 PM – Afternoon jungle trek along the Otter Trail, guided by experienced naturalists
7:30 PM – Dinner at Sunbird Café
9:00 PM – Night safari to explore Tabin’s nocturnal wildlife
7:00 AM – Early breakfast at Sunbird Café
8:00 AM – Final cycling session along Ladang Tunku Road toward the main road junction
12:30 PM – Return to the resort for a refreshing shower and lunch
1:30 PM – Transfer back to Lahad Datu Airport for your onward journey
The trails range from beginner to intermediate level, with a mix of gravel paths, gentle slopes, and rainforest roads. A basic level of fitness and cycling experience is recommended.
Mountain bike rental is available at an additional cost of RM350 for the full 3-day tour. You’re also welcome to bring your own bike if preferred.
Each tour requires a minimum of 4 participants to depart. Group sizes are kept small for a more personalized and safe experience.
While cycling and on guided walks, you may spot hornbills, orangutans, monitor lizards, and possibly even wild cats or elephants. The night safari also offers a chance to see nocturnal creatures.
Bring quick-dry clothing, padded cycling shorts, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, rain gear, a flashlight or headlamp, and a small backpack. A detailed packing list is provided upon booking.
Light rain is common in the rainforest and tours usually proceed as planned. However, activities may be adjusted for safety in the event of heavy weather.
