Bako National Park Day Tour Itinerary

Starting Time: 8:30 AM
Return Time: 3:30 PM

  • 8:30 AM – Pickup & Transfer to Bako Jetty
    Guests will be picked up from designated locations in Kuching. Enjoy a one-hour scenic drive by road to a riverside village.
  • Boat Ride to Park Headquarters
    Board a small boat for a short ride to Bako National Park. Admire the scenic mangrove forests, coastal views, and striking rock formations along the way.
  • Explore Bako National Park
    Upon arrival, begin your Bako National Park Day Tour with an introduction to the park’s rich ecosystems. Spot diverse wildlife such as proboscis monkeys (about 275 live in the park), long-tailed macaques, silver leaf monkeys, and bearded wild boars. With some luck, you may also see flying squirrels, tarsiers, otters, slow lorises, and a variety of resident and migratory birds. Your guide will also point out reptiles like the well-camouflaged Green Pit Viper.
  • Guided Jungle Trek
    Venture along scenic jungle trails with your experienced park guide. Immerse yourself in Bako’s lush rainforest, unique flora, and dramatic seaside landscapes.
  • Lunch Break
    Recharge with a provided lunch before continuing your park adventure.
  • Return Journey
